Thunder Token ICO Review

Thunder is a blockchain of high performance and security. This project is backed by 10 years of research and work in distributed computing by Elaine Shi, Cornell Associate Professor. It brings blockchain scalability, the most important thing that is staying in the way of blockchain mass adoption. Present speed of transaction is not fast enough to be implemented in centralized systems that need instant transactions like Visa, Binance, etc. A need for that kind of company can be fulfilled in implementing the solution of Thunder.

Thunderella protocol brings blockchain transaction speed 1,000 x higher than anything that currently exists. Protocol utilizes a standard chain augmented by an accelerated “optimistic fast-path”. In this way transactions are sent to the lead node to be verified, not taking place on the blockchain, and then distributed among a “committee” of nodes (3/4 of nodes need to acknowledge its authenticity). Only if this consensus can’t be reached transactions will be brought to slow PoW blockchain.

They have a strong team, great idea and award-winning experts in this field.

A Testnet was successfully launched recently to a small group of developers. The team will start to allow more developers in gradually with a broad release in July. It will be interesting to see what can they produce. For now, they released whitepaper and the project is in an early stage with no roadmap and token metrics, and no advisors and partners either. Presently it looks like they are eager on building their technology and not on raising funds.

At this moment they have no plans for a public ICO.

“We will disclose our plan if we decide to raise fund.” says Chris Wang (CEO)

Competitors
There is a lot of competition in this field. Solution for scalability of blockchain are coming from every direction, but most of them are not yet in function. Thunder token has a good chance in creating a way for mass adoption through a stable and fast blokchain because it is simple but effective solution that can be easily implemented and adopted.
Asked about competitors, what makes them better, Chris Wang (CEO) says:
“We will actually deliver our promise.”
